Sky Glow at Cave Run Lake, Cave Run, Kentucky.
Sky Glow: The near earth atmosphere, The air is glowing from the lighting that is just behind the damn at Cave Run Lake. The Sky Glow can be more or less from night to night because the moisture in the air changes from night to night. The sky glow this night was low for this area which is Eastern Kentucky. It took a much longer exposure the normal to photo the reddish orange glow.
The stars show largely to the west over the sky glow.
The camera info in the camera header is misleading. This is a 12mm very wide leans I made up from a Canon 18 to 55 mm lens. I have added extra elements to the lens that widens the lens some three times. About 12mm.
I went to image the colors of the night sky not the astronomy. The Sky Glow.
