Dark Art. March 2015. One of two images.
Getting the old house studio on line. The winter has caused a lot of roof problems but I will have it up and running soon. Two years of none use.
Taken with all natural light that comes in throw the windows. and the light in this magical old house changes from hour to hour and day to day. Very interesting place to shoot. Very Interesting.
Still believing in bigger then life. Ansel Adams's philosophy. And image needs to be more then what is seen at the location when the image was taken. Bigger then life comes from the darkroom. Where the ART of photography is created. The darkroom. The magic if it can be found in the image is brought forward. The darkroom.
Plus I am a big believer in pre shooting any location before models are brought to the location. So for me, I was/am trying to get back in tune with this location.
No artificial light in the room so I am working on how or what generated the shadow behind the skeleton. My thinking is there was a lark mirror setting against the back wall so light from the window directed back to the scene.
