Miss Siddhartha goes way back in years with us here at DarkMoonPhoto. She does not live here anymore but when in town, because of family she visit from time to time, she always gives me/us a little of her time to catch up some images. She is an artist in her own right. She is a painter. I would love to see her post some of her work here on deviantArt some day.

As Louisville, Kentucky grew in the 20 and 30s, 1930s, Louisville installed many mass transit trains. They ran from downtown Louisville to out laying suburbs. As much as 50/60 miles out. All detections. Soon after world war II the automobile became the most popular means of transportation so the Mass Transit Rain System was abandoned. Very little of the Transit System is left. A few locations still live on but in decay. A shame. The tracks are still used for the big part today for cargo trains.

This boarding platform was one of the largest that serviced the Mass Rail Transit System except for the main hub at 6/7th and Broadway which is all gone today. This station is huge. Runs almost a half mile.
