Our Moon - November 12 2010
The night I took this which was last night the sky was clear but very unstable. The air at higher atmosphere was very unstable. The image was bouncing around a lot. Very, very unstable. I could not use a slow ASA. I had to use 1600 ASA to get the shutter of 1000 to get a quality image. To stop the image moving around as the air shifted in the upper atmosphere. Bottom line is an image with a lot of detail but grainy. Not as smooth as I would like to have seen. But OK with it.
This image is made up of 5 images overlaid or stacked. 4 image with ASA at 1600 and one with ASA at 800. 4 images shot at 1000 shutter speed and the 1 image at 250. The brighter image I use the K channel as the base image to lay the other 4 image over.
Shoot in the city of Louisville, Kentucky. Sky glow heaven.

Do you know if that is the "Proclus Crater On The Shores Of Palus Somni" at the bottom of your photo? The photo is awesome and I'm looking for a picture with that crater at 6 o'clock for a Feature I'm in the process of completing here [link] I'm also looking for one with it at 7 o'clock and then I will have it all the way around the dial.
