The under belly of the great steel train bridge here at Louisville, Kentucky, USA. This is the largest steel structure I know of here at Louisville, Kentucky.

It is made up of two rail set of tracks for trains. Then a passenger walkway in the center no longer used. At one time this walkway was one of the few passage between Kentucky and Indiana before automobile bridges where belt. Of course there where fairies that operated her between Indiana and Kentucky.

Also included on the bridge where two lanes for automobiles. One lane left and right along side the train bridge center. The decks (Floors) of the automobile part of the bridge are also constructed of steel. Automobile traffic was stopped back in the late 60s. I drove across this bridge myself in 1966 right before the auto traffic was stooped. The auto lanes are still usable. Bridge maintenance vehicles use the lanes to service the bridge.

This image is made up from three image wide. A panorama compiled. And each of the tree images are made up of three exposures. True HDR three exposures images. Which make this image made from 9 image in total. I think that explains how this image came about except way? : Because I wanted a full image of the dynamics of how large this undercarriage of this structures really is. Late afternoon yellow sun with lots of shadows required the HDR combining. And to get the left to right dynamics required the combining of three of the HDR images. I could not use a wider angle lens because I could not back up any more. I would have been in the Ohio River.

Yes I am looking at location like this because of the interest of the location but more important is to go back with model and do a location shoot here.
