Oldtown Cemetery, Oldtown Chirch Cemetery. Just south of Greenup, Kentucky.

Here is the History Marker that leads one back to Lucy Downs's crave. And the history about Lucy.

I think the marker is readable at the resolution that Facebook uses. It make take you some time. And a good monitor to read it on. I think worth taking the time.

This was interesting and I read it all the way through, but the bottom is cut off. She lived a good long time for that era. I was surprised to see how she was 31 when wed. That is quite late in life even these days, but a life time back then.
