A small portion of the winter sky. Orion Nebula within Orion itself. The Horse Head Nebula also can be seen. Image shoot January 19th, 2015. I am well please with this astronomy image. It was shoot with a Canon Pocket camera. Yes an advanced pocket camera but a point and shoot camera. Shoot from a high populated area. A high light polluted area. I will get to a dark sky location some day soon.

Three days work to take this image and do all the needed darkroom work. The image is made up of 24each, 30-Second plus 13each, 60-Second images which make a 25 minute exposure. The ultimate HDR image.
