I have always liked this image. It has a history.

My wife became very sick. Very ill while on a book club tripe to the Eastern Hills of Kentucky. She had to be hospitalized because of a health problem that came up in the night.

I and a friend had to go after her late that night. It was the next morning before we got to return home. My friend drove my wife back and I retrieved her car at the Lodge where she was staying. Retrieve her belongings, etc.

As I left the Lodge in the middle of a snow shower I stopped to take one image on the way out. Carter Cave State Park. Kentucky State Park. Three years back. Three Winters Back.

What a nice story! Hope your wife is better now :)

love the photo it has a great sense of cosiness, with the warm coloured leaves and snow :) good capture

She is good now. Ear infection and she lost her balance and fell. The room cleaning lady found her out in the bathroom. Every time she tried to get up she would fall again.
