Taylorsville Lake State Park, May 2018
I found this very deep in the woods a Taylorsville Lake State Park. Very downhill from the campground north-west towards the lake. Through the wood not anywhere near the main road. Nowhere near any bitten path.
So what is this artifact? It is bigger then it looks in this image. I know or I am sure I know what it is. Found in the bottom of a valley.
I was hoping to find a hiking path to one of the backwaters of the lake where I know there is a large number of water birds. The only way to photograph this bird area right now is by small boat. I got close on this trip into the wood but very hard downhill hick.
I did find several neat ponds that were built for an animal watering hole when this area was just farms.
