Our Moon
Taken some time back. A camera I still use but very little. Replace with one of the new 14bit cameras which I have not use on a telescope yet. All winter has been very poor weather here in Kentucky. One of the last image I took with the 400D before switching to the 450D.
I think this was taken with my 10ich f/5.5 scope. I have some 30 to 35 scopes. Did not make a note. It was a faster scope then normally used for great moon images because not all the image is in focus. The faster scopes have a more curved field. With a F/5.5 scope only about 15/16 mm circle of the field is flat and in focus with out using a second optic to correct the coma problem.
After I work on a telescope I take a quick image to see if the scope is allied, etc.
